At Sandown Nursing Home our dedicated nurses support our residents’ medication needs in many ways to ensure that they are taking the right medication at the right time. From liaising with other health care professionals at the requests and needs of our residents; to reminding the residents to take their medication, assisting them to take the right medication or giving full support by the administration, encouraging trust and confidence that their health needs are being met.
Personalised plans
We will develop an individualised plan of care with each resident including their family if requested to meet their current and future health needs and also involving outside professionals to ensure that we are all acting in the best interests of each resident.
Fully managed service
Our nurses will arrange appointments either for our residents to be seen within the Nursing Home or they will arrange transport and an escort as required. They will manage each resident’s prescriptions and medications in a timely and accurate manner including monitoring and reviewing for contraindications giving the resident and their family one less thing to worry about.
